96. THE LITTLE MATCH GIRL 3.11.15

As Hans Christian Andersen told

It was so horribly cold

On that New year eve

But the little girl had to leave

Her poor home

For the streets to roam,

Holding matches in her freezing hands she tried

To sell them to passers-by

But failed. Ah God, why?

The great Andersen’s tale was very sad,

The little girl had a miserable life, yes, she had.

But Fate could be different, anyway

If on the cold day

Somebody took care of the little girl in the street:

Yes, She deserved a better treat.
