Mirror, my mate,

I am late!

Aren’t I sweet?

I am going to meet

My sweaheart,

And I cannot be a tart!

Help me,  friend!

  1. I like how, after I read the poem, the picture “transformed” for me and it looks like she is really in a hurry 😀 Nice little poem!

  2. Thank you so much 🙂

  3. Hi, Wanda… it’s Christmas Eve here in the Philippines. I just want to send you my warm greetings (that is, if you celebrate Christmas). 🙂

By the way, your poem sounds really good, I like the upbeat tone — but perhaps, on the third line, you could use “Am I not sweet” instead of “Aren’t I sweet”. 😉

I’ll catch more of your poems next year — I’ll be taking a short break from blogging (I think). Happy New Year then!

  4. Dear Cynthia, thanks for your nice words.Happy Christmas to You, too. We have about 0,5 cm snow today. HAPPY 2012 🙂

  5. Nice poem.I agree with Theresa,it”s nice that you put the pic at the end

  6. Thanks, Novroz 🙂

  7. Ha, I also think that the mirror is her friend. 🙂 This picture really drives a similar theme on pieces I’ve read, but you’ve made it somehow different, in a happy tone! Or, mm, maybe I’m wrong? Hehe.

    • Thanks for the nice comments. =They do help.
