Dreams and reality

« Fais de ta vie un rêve, et d’un rêve, une réalité. » Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
English: “Make your life a dream and your dream a reality.” Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Nice words, and I only can agree.:)

Keep silence for the most part, and speak only when you must, and then briefly. Epictetus

Very clever worlds. My long tongue has been my enemy, all my life. And scribbling, I would add. One newspaper article brought me to the  trial. WELL,  I won. Nevertheless, I would not like to experience something like that again. Maybe it is the age, but NOW  I agree with Epictetus. 🙂

I am sick and tired of politics! Our Parliamentary elections come closer, and the politicians grow bolder and bolder. The folk have very, very short memory. And therefore I am so sick and tired of politics. It seems that everything goes round and round. Boring, tiresome, dull.

Evening light fell on my sight.

Lovely, lonely, beautiful.

And I grew full

With joy and pleasure.

Dear Nature, I love you,

You are my treasure,

You are my everything.

I wonder whether people are everywhere as greedy as my neighbour. She is a woman of 55, physically half disabled drunkard. After her last  deeds,  I am afraid,  mentally handicapped as well. The problems started some years ago. First she stole our cucumbers (once I arrived on my bike, surprising her: she inspected our garden.Do you think she was ashamed? No! It was me who was ashamed.Well,  I decided to keep silence hoping thaat woman has taken her lesson. No. She became even more impudent and came to my Mum to ask the pay for undone work. My Mum is  good-hearted, and the thief simply used the situation. This spring the dishonest woman sliced a broad part from our garden and cultivated it as her own. I kept silence hoping we would move to another place. Nevertheless,  my plans failed, and I am still where I was. The last drop was my neighbour’s sadistic attitude to our flowers – full with bees. The flowers were leaning to the greedy neighbour’s side… and some days ago I was shocked seeing our flowers cut down, probably with a spade. It was evident who did this since her side was cultivated strongly. And her feet clearly visible on our garden. It made me sick. I phoned to the municipality and asked their advice. They promised to solve the problem. But that crazy woman – how will she act? Maybe she will beat me with that murderous spade? Our poor flower-bush was bleeding for several days. I did not remove it hoping  SHE would get ashamed at last. Most probably my hopes will fail again.

Awful heat here in Europe. I wonder how long this hell will continue. On the other hand, the peoples of Africa live in conditions like that constantly. Can the heat change our mentality? And how? Who knows?
